Cessna Citation CJ3
The Cessna Citation CJ3 has greater speed, longer range, faster climb and increased fuel efficiency.
With its T-tail and new wider-span natural laminar-flow wing, the CJ3 is configured for precise handling, performance and aerodynamic efficiency. Compared to a conventional wing, the computer-sculpted airfoil maintains an uninterrupted flow of air across a greater portion of its surface, producing a win-win combination of more lift with less drag. The same aerodynamic styling makes the CJ3 a ramp show-stopper even when it’s standing still.
For increased interior comfort, the CJ3 cabin has more than 4 feet (1.22 m) longer than the original Citation Jet's. That's nearly two feet beyond even the CJ2+'s. With all that room, even long-legged passengers can stretch out in the plush new seats with ease. The deep-cushioned executive recliners slide fore and aft. And they track inboard toward the aisle to give passengers an extra helping of room, comfort and workspace.
The standard configuration for the CJ3’s 15-ft plus long cabin features a six-place center club arrangement. A refreshment center across from the entry door includes a storage cabinet with adjustable shelves. Fourteen elliptical windows offer exceptional natural lighting throughout the cabin. Optional seating arrangements will accommodate up to eight passengers.
The CJ3 is the first engine in its class to come standard with the pilot-workload-reducing full-authority digital engine controls (FADEC), the standard for all large, new-generation jets. FADEC simplifies engine control by ensuring proper power output, engine synchronization and maximum fuel efficiency.
